Bharatanatyam is one of the most divine dance forms of India. Bharatanatyam’s statues poses, geometric lines, detailed hand and eye movements and complex foot rhythms around a deeply spiritual core. The rhythmic use of time in the music and steps is a sacred language that has survived life’s changes through millennia.

The School of Bharathakala provides students of all ages with all levels of training in theory and practical technique. Bharathanatyam in the traditional Kalakshetra style. Dance is as individual a journey as each one of us is. Our primary objective is to guide our students’ personal growth, enabling them to progress in technique, artistry and creativity.
The School of Bharathakala is based in Harrow, Lewisham, Coventry, Luton, Blackpool and most places in London. The School of Bharathakala welcomes students of all ages from 4 and above to train in the classical dance form Bharatanatyam. Quality teaching is delivered in the Kalakshetra Style of Bharathanatyam by experienced teachers.
